About Us
Baildon Glen Primary School is a one-form entry community school in Baildon. We are proud to be known as a caring and inclusive school and value the close community feeling of being one-form entry. On the 1st May 2022 we joined Exceed Academies Trust who are supporting us along the next steps of our journey.
Children are at the heart of everything we do. We have created our ‘Six Ways to Grow’ with the children, which are a golden thread to run through all aspects of every child’s learning. This helps to build resilience and perseverance, ensuring all our young people are well prepared for their next stage in learning.
We welcome parents and carers to celebrate the children’s successes with us.
Our Friday Celebration Assembly, sees children being selected for ‘Star of the Week’ in each class and two ‘Headteacher Awards’ are also given to pupils who go ‘Above and Beyond’ our high expectations. We will inform you on a Thursday if your child has been selected for a certificate, so you can come and share in your child’s success.
Our team of highly committed, friendly staff embrace working together as a team and believe that education is a partnership with children and their families. In a locality rich with educational resources on our doorstep, our setting includes a wonderful area of woodland, including a forest school that is accessible to all learners throughout each week.
We hope you find what you are looking for on our website. If you would prefer to speak to one of our team in person, please telephone the office and ask for Mrs Mackenzie or Mrs Green, who will be happy to help. Alternatively, feel free to request a visit, to come and experience this for yourself. We look forward to meeting you.
